It's Time to Stand Up and Make a Difference

Did you know that in the US each year an estimated 1.9 million new cancer cases will be diagnosed and 609,000 cancer deaths will occur? Over 260,000 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in women and more than 2,500 cases in men. Women in the U.S. have 1 in 8 lifetime risk of being diagnosed with breast cancer. We say enough is enough.

Stridin’ & Survivin’ is a non-profit cancer charity founded in 2010 and located just outside of Edwardsville, Illinois in a small, rural town called Hamel, Illinois. We are a small but mighty group comprised of cancer survivors and family members of survivors and those lost who want to make a difference in cancer research and patient services. Together, we are a cancer charity that creates and runs fundraising events to not only bring awareness to fighting the disease, but to raise funds and provide services for cancer research and those in our local communities going through cancer treatment.
